Characteristics and sound properties

The question came up if it is possible to develop a shelf box, which offers a voluminous sound without subwoofer and can reproduce the lowest frequencies.
The result was the PACTO, a shelf box constructed as a so-called SWAF system (subwoofer assited fullrange) in an discrete bass reflex enclosure. The W 130 X - 2 x 4 Ohm allows a very low cutoff frequency of 42 Hz and is supported in the mid-high range of the FR 58 - 8 Ohms. The two drivers are separated at 250 Hz by a simple series switch with only three components. As a result, only one driver is responsible for the very important vocal range, which makes the sound effect extremely precise.
Thanks to the front bass reflex opening, the relatively small box can be accommodated discreetly on a shelf and still fills your living room with a rich and full-bodied sound.
